Where do you come from/ where did you grow up?

Victoria: Born in Melbourne raised in Albury-Wodonga

What were your interests growing up?

Netball, Basketball, Snowboarding, AFL

What got you into the health industry?

Plenty of sporting injuries as a junior

How would you define optimal health and lifestyle/what is your philosophy?

Finding out what works for you and your body – you know it better than anyone else

What do you try to achieve with your clients/patients?

Goal orientated treatment as well as realistic time-frames to achieve these goals. Additionally, strategies to reduce risk of re-injury and ensure optimal function in the long-term

What do you specialise in/ Focus on?

Musculoskeletal problems especially overuse type injuries.

Qualifications/Education:

Bachelor of Physiotherapy, University of Sydney

Industry Association Member:

Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Sports Physiotherapy Member

What makes you an expert?

I really enjoy professional development both within Physiotherapy and in other areas of health and wellbeing. I aim to learn something new every day and apply it to my clinical practice.

What are your interests now/ are you married/ do you have children?

I’ve just come back from an extended holiday an so I’m planning my next trip!

What are your proudest achievements/career highlights?

Travelling with the Australian School Netball Team - being in integral part of an elite team was incredibly rewarding

What doesn’t kill you only makes you a better story-teller
