Physiotherapy

At Elevate we pride ourselves on only working with the best, and when it comes to physiotherapy Sydney CBD, Sportslab are the experts. When you visit Elevate for physiotherapy, you will be treated by a top level, highly experienced practitioner from the Sportslab group.

Why Sportslab Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy at Sportslab and now at Elevate Sydney CBD includes assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all musculoskeletal problems. This means any injury to the muscles, bones, joints and nerves in the body, including the back and neck.

Our Physiotherapists all have years of experience and across a variety of different areas of Physiotherapy. All have sports team experience and have spent years in hospital settings treating acute injuries and post-operative recovery patients.

This experience ensures that your injury will be looked after by someone who understands your problem very well – however the real Sportslab difference is the amount of 1:1 time that our Physiotherapy staff will spend with you. You will be attended to personally by one of our staff 100% of the time that you are in our clinic. There will be no time where you are left on a treatment machine, or on a piece of exercise equipment as commonly happens in other clinics.

Sportslab also pioneers a unique integrated system of treatment where you can be assessed (all in the one session) by Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and Biomechanical Podiatrists who will then confer with you in a team approach to achieve the absolute best outcome for your injury – this approach is highly effective when dealing with complex or chronic conditions, or when dealing with high level athletic activity. This integrated system of assessment and treatment is now available at Elevate.

Our Physiotherapists are 100%  'hands on' with treatment. So you will receive dedicated 1:1 care throughout your  treatment session. All of our therapists are skilled in manual- therapy for the joints, muscle release techniques and are skilled biomechanical analysts.

We will liaise closely with a your GP/specialist and have a network of Sports Physicians and Orthopaedic Surgeons that we can refer to. We pride ourselves in appropriate referral of complex cases to the most appropriate practitioner for any  imaging or specialist testing. This results in the most accurate diagnosis for your injury and prevents extended periods of treatment in the absence of any definitive diagnosis. In this way we aim to treat the cause of your problem as well as the symptoms.

The Physiotherapy Sydney CBD team usually work in conjunction with experienced massage therapists in sixty-minute sessions. Allowing this time means that all aspects of your injury will be assessed and treated in the one session.
